Well, there's something I have to confess. Are you ready? Here it comes......take a deep breath; I'm about to tell you....this is hard....OK, I'll do it. I'm BLOND! Oh, you say you already guessed that (and if you know me, you already knew it). What does this have to do with anything, especially with stamping? Well, yesterday I told you that I couldn't show you a card because it was made with a stamp set that will be in the new catalog. The part about it being in the new catalog was true. But Stampin' Up! has recently announced that demonstrators may show cards made with stamp sets that will soon be available, so I CAN show you that card. And I will! Are you ready? Here it is:
The scan truly does not do this card justice. The hummingbird is raised on Stampin' Dimensionals and the little pink flowers are individually cut out and adhered to the Designer Series Paper (Urban Garden, one of my very most favorites because it goes with so many colors and stamp styles; it's in the current catalog so be sure to order it before it goes away. I won't know if it will be discontinued or not, but I would recommend not taking a chance.).
Stamps: Dream a Little (coming in new catalog), Inspired by Nature (in current catalog)
Ink: Black StazOn, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Urban Garden DSP
Accessories: Pretty in Pink gingham ribbon, 3/16" corner rounder punch, Word Window punch, Blender Pen, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL adhesive, Mini Glue Dots
There is another card I showed you several days ago but removed because I thought I was violating Stampin' Up! policy, so I'm going to bring that one back because I really love the stamp set and had such fun making the card. Here goes:
This card uses another new stamp set that will be available on January 19th. It has three little bee stamps and I love them all! One of my all-time favorite color combinations is Basic Black with Summer Sun, and I think it's a great choice for this stamp set, though I know I'll be using lots of other colors, too. The cute little bee is cut out and raised on Stampin' Dimensionals and so is the sign above the hive's door. I also colored the little bee with my Summer Sun marker. I really love how the Stampin' Up! colors all go together. I've probably told you that before, but I appreciate it every time I stamp! Inside the card says "have a honey of a day!" and there's another little bee stamped there, too, with room for a personal note to the recipient. Here is the card recipe:
Stamps: Just Buzzin' By
Ink: Basic Black, Black StazOn, Summer Sun marker
Paper: Basic Black, Summer Sun, Whisper White, Creamy Caramel
Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Happy New Year! And thanks so much for stopping by for a little visit. I hope you'll come back soon. And put these two new stamp sets on your Wish List so you won't forget. See you later!
