Hello again! It's been a while since I posted, and I need to explain. Life got very crazy through the Christmas holidays and beyond. I was privileged to be eligible to attend Stampin' Up!'s annual Leadership event in Phoenix, which was held January 6th through the 8th. I stayed on for the Phoenix Regional Seminar and then spent several wonderful days with my sister Dot and her friend Margo in Mesa. Coming back to very cold central Illinois was not as easy as I had thought it would be. The temps in Phoenix were high 60s to mid 70s. A person could get used to that! I had a great time and learned so much. I'll be happy to share with you.
But before I begin sharing Leadership and Regional gems with you, I've had a request for a photo of a sweet little Valentine Fancy Favor box bag I made recently and took to Janice Weightman's recent downline meeting. Yes, I'm very lucky to be in this wonderful woman's downline. She is so generous and I so enjoy her meetings. But I digress.... Here is the little favor box bag:
Hint: the four squares are so easy to do. I used my Stampin' Up! 1 3/8" square punch and my 1 1/4" square punch!
The stamp sets: A Happy Heart, I {Heart} Hearts; Ink: Real Red, Basic Black; Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (it sparkles!); Accessories: 1 3/8" Square Punch, 1 1/4" Square Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Full Heart Punch,Small Heart Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch (SAB!), Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Real Red 3/4" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot, Fancy Favor Box die, Extended Cutting Pads, Sticky Strip and SNAIL adhesives
Here is the first 3 x 3 card:
And here is a photo of the other two cards I made to go inside the box:
Note: You will need 12 x 12 cardstock for the Fancy Favor box. You get two from each sheet.
I hope you will try making these sweet little boxes. Can't you just see them filled with shreddy stuff, with a little chocolate tucked in? Or maybe make one and give it to your hubby; tell him he can fill it with something gold and sparkly!??
Come back to visit me again soon, ok? I like having company. Leave me a comment, if you would, so I'll know you were here. Take care and stay warm!
Judi
